To ignite scientific inquisitiveness in the young minds coming from the rural background towards the physical world of nature and beyond interfacing the grandeur of the COSMOS. Physics as an important subject of the B.Sc. Program creates a learning plaform for grooming the cognition and critical thinking of the budding minds not only through rote method but also validating it practically with the aim of enhancing their higher educational as well as livelihood perspectives.

• To develop strong scientific foundation through fundamental principal of physics and train to students to apply these principals in real world. Further students should have operating knowledge of available devices, instruments and machine and able to qualify the competitive examination and meet the changing requirement of the job market.
• To integrate human values and social concern with the physics education and ensuring nil/minimized dropout – rate.
• Creating interest in physics by more focusing on experimental and project-based learning.
